Rotary Club of Ely donates over $13K to Ukrainian Relief Fund.
During a Special Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Ely held on Monday, March 14, 2022, the clubs' leadership voted to seek donations from local Rotarians and the community. These contributions will support the Rotary International Foundation Disaster Relief Fund. The Rotary Foundation will utilize its Disaster Relief Fund in response to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. The Rotary Club of Ely will match any donations raised by its members and the community up to $4000.00.
Through the official channels of the Rotary Foundation, donors worldwide can donate with confidence and know that their contributions will go directly to those who need it most. The Rotary Foundation has received a perfect score – 100 out of 100 – for Financial Responsibility, Accountability, and Transparency by Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator evaluates nonprofit organizations' financial health and tracks accountability and transparency policies to ensure the good governance and integrity of the organization.

All contributions have been collected, and the Ely Rotary Club is proud to have donated $13,813.00 to the Ukraine Disaster Relief Fund. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this worthwhile cause.
