BWCC: Status of Ely’s Nursing Home and Long-term Care in the State of MN.

BWCC executive Director, Adam Maslowski, will share the current status, viability and risks to operations of Ely's only skilled nursing facility. Current fundraising efforts and legislative priorities will be discussed as well as an overview of issues that long term care facilities, face at both the state and federal level.

Adam Masloŭski has lived in the Ely area for 17 years and worked at Boundary Waters Care Center for 15. He holds a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from Saint Marys University and became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator over six years ago. Caring for Ely's senior population in a dignified manner is his life's goal.
