St. Louis County Law Enforcement Chaplin
The Rotary In-Person and Zoom meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 17th at The Grand Ely Lodge.
The meeting begins at 12:00 noon for socializing and 12:10 pm for opening. Kurt Soderberg will email invitations to members and guests.
Larry Reedy was raised in St. Paul and Floodwood and began his career in Law Enforcement in Floodwood, serving the Floodwood Police Dept. for four years. He then served the Ely PD for more than 25 years, retiring in 2005. Sense retiring, he started Reedy Auction Service, spent 14 years operating a rural mail contract service with the USPS and purchased the Ely License Bureau with his spouse Penny. He began chaplaincy work in 2003, as a Disaster Relief Chaplin has responded to hurricanes, flooding and a tornado. In 2016 he became the Interim Pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in International Falls and also serves as the St. Louis County Law Enforcement Chaplin.
