Rich Floyd, Outdoor Photographer
A Lifetime of Observing Nature and Capturing the Outdoors in Photographs.
Our speaker this Wednesday is outdoor photographer, Rich Floyd.

Rich grew up on the Iron Range, spending his pre-teen years through early 20’s just outside of Ely. After graduating from college, he was appointed to the Commissioned Corps of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or N0AA. He spent his entire Commissioned Corps career on the east coast, mostly in the Washington, DC area. When he retired from NOAA, he and his wife, Toni, moved to their current home on Eagles Nest Lake 3. Rich has always had an interest in the outdoors, encouraged partly by his father and partly by the surroundings in which he grew up. He also dabbled in photography over the years. Since his move back to Minnesota, he has had more opportunity to pursue what has become one of his primary interests: outdoor photography.
