This week we will have Kate Kalan, she is the owner of Etoile du Nord Day Spa in Ely, Minnesota. She grew up in Ely, where her parents, Flossie and Louie, ran Flossies's Clothing Store and State Farm Insurance in downtown Ely. After working in media and marketing, Kate moved home during COVID and felt a calling to open a business of her own. in 2025, she launched Etoile du Nord Day Spa, a non-toxic, community-focused spa in the heart of downtown.
