President Heiman welcomed those at the Grand Ely Lodge and via Zoom. He reviewed the actions at the Board meeting:
Confirmed the Fall Rose Sale chaired by Tom Moore, Terri Olson, and Karen Zupancich.
Announced our social committee as Moore, Heather Fitzgerald, and Linda Przybylski.
Newest Board member is Ward Nelson, with Lindsay noting her interest in serving.
We need a membership chair for both recruitment and retention.
Please pick up your raffle tickets from Pat Warner and come to the Highway cleanup on Thursday May 12th, meeting at 4:00 pm at the Bear Center with a social afterward at the Boathouse.
We also recognized Michael Musich for becoming a Paul Harris Fellow.
Helen Tome, Peggy Stolley - Ely Community Health Center - Dental Innovations.
Ely Community Health Center is open each Thursday and is expanding its dental coverage. Donated equipment has been used for dental services. They are currently located in the ECR building but are doing mobile services currently in other locations around Ely. Services are limited, but the hope is to expand times and locations soon.
A needed and important program in Ely and the surrounding area.
