Welcoming all to Rotary!
Aug 10, 2022 12:00 PM
Greetings, On Wednesday, August 10th, we have a special opportunity to celebrate women in Rotary! Please plan to join us at The GEL on Wednesday at 12 noon. Kay Biga She is passionate about the environment and started the first "cause-based" club - the Rotary Club of Duluth Superior Eco. If you look in the August edition of the Rotary magazine on page 49 you will find a brief statement from her regarding the club. Check it out! Her District goal is to stabilize membership and increase the percentage of women, currently at 35%. Kay encourages all of us, male and female, to join the Women in Rotary Facebook group and that we read the District newsletter, display lawn signs (“Women in Rotary” and “Proud to be a Rotarian”), and increase awareness and emphasis on membership. It is important to create an environment that is welcoming to women. All people should be welcome at Rotary. Please join us, guests are welcome. Kurt Soderberg will email the Zoom invitation.
